Instalation for fuel base

In summer of 2003, the fuel base of the Polish Polar Station on Hornsund in Spitsbergen was put to use. The new installation of unloading, power supply, storage and fuel supply for current-generating units as well as snow motor scooters was designed and executed by personnel of our firm under contract of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The unit of reservoirs can receive 125 thousand litres of fuel, which is equal to one year stock.

The execution of the Polar Station makes a major contribution towards improvement of labour comfort of research workers, and promotes the Polish technical knowledge and execution as well.
